The enterprise ecosystem at the University of Leeds is extremely strong and is growing, with Spark businesses and founders making a huge impact in the region. Key to this work has been prestigious Sir Peter Thompson Prize, which recognises and supports aspiring student and graduate entrepreneurs. 

Sir Peter, with his family and friends, generously funded this prize and celebration dinner for many years, and we are now seeking funding to honour his legacy by keeping this tradition alive. Without new support, we won’t be able to recognise the outstanding student businesses that have the potential to make a real impact on the UK’s economic, social, and cultural prosperity.
